A delicious combination of creamy burrata and fresh tomatoes served on crispy baguette, perfect as an appetizer.

- 1 French baguette
- 250g burrata cheese
- 500g ripe tomatoes, diced
- Fresh basil, chopped
- Fresh oregano, chopped
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Slice the baguette into 1–1.5 cm thick pieces and place on a baking sheet.
- Toast the baguette slices in a preheated oven at 200°C until golden and crispy (about 5-7 minutes).
- Dice the tomatoes while the baguette is toasting and mix in a large bowl with olive oil, a pinch of salt, pepper, and the chopped herbs.
- Spread the burrata generously on each toasted baguette slice once they have cooled slightly.
- Add the prepared tomato mixture on top of the burrata, letting the juicy pieces contrast with the creamy texture.
- Garnish with additional herbs and serve immediately for the best taste.
Notes
Prepare the tomato mixture up to 2 hours in advance, and store it in the fridge for improved flavor.
